I prefer number two. Might play a little with the width of the black border. Another nicely done quilt Dina.

Thanks everyone for your votes! It is about decision time, and I am still leaning towards the second, so that one may be it.....maybe, possibly, could be.....

I like number #1 better. To my eye the blocks of focus fabric (the galaxy fabric) that abut the border disappear in choice #2 but they are more vibrant and come to the forefront in #1. #2 also seems to darken the overall appearance of the quilt but that could simply be monitor perception.

Well, I love the way the squares float in the first one, but the 2nd is definitely more "celestial" and dramatic!
