Just to let everyone know, I'll plan the next Virtual Quilting Weekend for the weekend of May 2. My husband is having a wisdom tooth removed that day so I'm not sure how much I'll get done but I'll definitely be with you in spirit!

Yesterday Saturday. I had a wonderful time. In the morning went by train and bus to pick up a 99k singer sewing machine. Two hours later came out of a wonderful place with old sewing machines. I spent ages looking and saying no to myself . Definately going back. Caught train and got off at wrong station and had to go the opposite way home. Which meant I purchased a washing machine as planned for today and then to the fabric shop. I ended up buying more than just stiffening as you may guess. Live going to this shop I am getting know the ladies and we chat and swop information.
Got home eventually to find 2 books waiting for me ,' quilting front to back ' and 'Quilt-opedia' so spent rest of day reading and looking up info on quilt board.
Sunday, overslept for me. Just going to hunt a pattern for my Easter egg chicks.
And beginning to sort out my fabrics for snowflake quilt..

First weekends of the month are when I go to estate sales... especially in the Spring! But I will check in if I can and see what everyone is working on...
