It was pretty much a weekend of loose ends. I had a cake to get out so did that first. Then finished sewing the panels to a backing I was piecing. But I did enjoy seeing all the pretties everyone has done. Love those stars and those crumbs. Hopefully I can do better on the next VQW.

Well I got a good start on the quilt I need to have done by Friday! Sorry about all the junk in the way. I'll do a better picture when I get it done. I guess I better step it up the next few days!

But then I decided (why??) to start my Dear Jane blocks. So I have the first 5 done. I'm using Kaffe Fassetts and I don't think I'm doing all 225, but still too early to tell.

ipad photos are so fuzzy - sorry!

Well....what amazing projects everyone managed to work on. Not so for me.....my chair was piled with mending and rather than move it on to my computer chair....plowed through that instead....nothing gripping....replaced a zip, mended a tear or two, replaced elastic......very boring indeed. But now I can sit at my machine...

My sister came over and we had a quilt weekend. We cut out 2 of these and got one sewn this far. It still needs a 2" white border and then a piano key border around the edge to be finished.

It's hanging on top of another quilt top made in the same design and you can see the orange, greens and aqua piano key border on that one.

We lost 3 hours quilting time because my son came over with his 6 week old baby (sweet Madelyn!!) so we had to stop and play with her, of course!

It was a productive weekend for me. I sandwiched two quilts, repaired the piecing on one (at least the mistake was found before the quilting was done), and started quilting one of them. No photos yet.

Thanks to all who shared their projects. Your quilts and projects are beautiful.

I'm looking forward to the next Virtual Quilting Weekend.

I missed this post completely. But I was with you all in spirit I finished 2 tops (made from blocks that were gifted to me, so all I was doing was sashing and borders) plus a couple of blocks for a new project.
I didn't see a note on the next virtual quilt weekend - I'll have to keep an eye out for it this time (although it's likely to be the week I'm going away)

Well, since I'll be away April 11, I vote for May 3
