I think what they mean by a heatset marker is a disappearing marker that has been accidentally made permament by ironing. If you iron marks before spritzing with cold water marks will go away but come back when dry. I've had it happen to me so I'm tickled to here this solution.

Thanks for the tip! I have the "eraser" but it's tip is blue from the marker and doesn't work anymore. I'll be spritzin' this mornin'!

Fit Vegetable Wash will take out the marks completely too. It's like liquid magic eraser! And it's non toxic and completely safe. I love this stuff.

I tried vinegar on crayola washable markers and it didn't take it out. Needless to say it didn't wash out with water either.
