I figure that I am going to keep on quilting till I die.... if we are never going to stop making them, then why should we put a limit on displaying them?
I've got at least 20 quilts displayed all the time, plus 3 walls are for rotating displays, also quilts are hung over chairs... also have some cross-stitch and needlepoint on the walls... the walls are filled, but I think that blank walls are boring!!
Even if some of this stuff was made years ago, I am not tired of enjoying them... they are the landmarks on my needlework journey...

I don't think there is any number that is too many...I hang quilts all over my house...larger quilts, wallhanging size, tablerunners, a quilt rack with many quilts draped on it, and a cabinet full of quilts that are out...I do rotate seasonally what quilts I have on display...that is the fun of it...to see different quilts. I don't think I have too many...as long as they aren't totally covering the walls...well...maybe that wouldn't be too many either if you were happy with how it looks.
Enjoy all your quilts!
Enjoy all your quilts!
