How wonderful to have generations of quilters in your family to complete the tops. I have a new niece and have already teased the family that I see a felloW quilter in her! :)

What a great tradition that you're going to start.

That's a wonderful reason to store quilt tops that you haven't finished.

I have found my unfinished quilt tops or WIPS without purpose to be very useful as wedding and baby gifts when they come up.

Wonderful story! I rarely keep a quilt, always make them to sell or gift. I may change my mind.

Great story! Sadly my mother (who hates sewing) is the only other female left in our family.

Good point. Our hobby produces something beautiful and lasting.
