What a wonderful idea. I have been quilting since 1976 and have sooo many quilt tops. Im going to tell my oldest daughter about this, and its what I want to do. Thank you for a great idea.

What a nice story! And a great "tradition" to pass on.

I have 14 grand children and 7 that range in age 14 to 9. I am hoping to have enough tops done so when they get married I won't have to stress to get quilts done. It would be nice to just let them take their pick from the tops and then get it quilted for their wedding. My MIL gave all her grandchildren a quilt for high school graduation. She just made quilts when she felt like it and then when they graduated they got to pick from the completed ones. When she lost her eye sight and couldn't quilt any more she still had a quilt for the youngest of the grand children.
