I think some of the turquoise color in a solid would look great with your purples.

Since I love purple, I think it will look awesome with just the 2 colors.

I'm with the purple brigade, you can never have too much purple, and purple and turquoise is a perfect combination. A turquoise tone on tone would be a nice addition.

Why are you fussy cutting? To get a full motif in the center? personally, I'd not waste the fabric, since you only have two fabrics.

I can not believe this. I read the photo date in the corner that says 2013 10 30 and thought what happened to your camera to give you a date that far in the future. Horse Hockey---------------the first day of November is tomorrow. (it's early Thursday now) I'm lost a couple months back, I guess.

BTW, not too purply at all. Love the tiny dots with your print.

How about adding some black? Or maybe white, or both?

You can never have too much purple, but that's just me. No after reading the other posts, I'm in good company. A lighter aqua sashing might break it up enough. Or I'm a throw a bit of white person when I need to soften the main color.
