I got a flyer in the local paper and it said that Walmart fabric is back in over 2000 stores. Have not gone to our local store but will tomorrow. It was supposed to be ready Sept 18th. Sure hope so, I think WalMart has options for so many people.

The WalMart by me took out their fabric dept when they remodeled but now it is back. Not huge but it's there.

Two Walmarts near my home not only have fabric back, both have expanded their craft/fabric department. Hope yours has done or will do the same.

No fabric in my Walmart. They would have to redesign the whole dept to make it bigger. Really can't see that happening. But there are two Walmarts not far from me that have brought the fabric back. Walmart should have listened to us when they started taking it out.

Both Wal-marts I shop in got it back that's in Bradenton and Tampa FL. Tampa's got a larger assortment for now and I was told the Bradenton one on Rt 64 will get more if we give them the bar code #'s off the bolts that we like. She will then order the material for the store. Now that's what I call customer service.

Our WalMart just got the material back. Went out the other night to check it out and I did not find a single piece I wanted. Alot of junk, as far as I was concerned but then there are a lot of people who want cheaper material and they will probably buy it but there also was not anyone around to cut it either. They also had alot of fleece and I never buy that. So was not impressed that it was back.

So far all of our are getting it back. I've never had trouble getting waited on. Just ring the little bell and someone usually comes. The fabric isn't great but I'm just learning to quilt and I'm not ready to cut into $9 plus yd of fabric. For some people it's the difference in having a hobby or not being able to afford anything. Seems there's a place for everything in the world. Speak to the manager if you're not able to get someone to wait on you or contact WalMart corp. I usually get good responses if I'm nice and bring it up to the upper management.
