    No one has really told me if I should go with the watercolor batiks or regular batiks.

    What a beautiful design! Why not make a sample block of different fabrics before you decide?

    The second one really looks like water to me. Very pretty, either one.

    I love the design. I think you couldn't go wrong any way you chose to interpret it. I really think as long as you had strong contrast between the shapes you would have a winner. I would have a stonger opionion if I could see the actual fabrics, be sure and keep us posted.

    Both are beautiful, but the 2nd one calls to me. Your design is fantastic. :thumbup:

    I prefer the turquoise.....it seems to work better with the black to me. Please post pics when you finish the quilt...can't wait to see it!
