UGLY QUILT
#1
I decided to make a scrap quilt and put a variety of fabrics: calico, juvenile, solids, etc. and found that too much of everything made an ugly quilt. I thought of putting colorful sashing and matching border to solidify the quilt. What do you think....how do I save an ugly quilt?

If that's ugly, then all my quilts are ugly. That's what I do all the time. Am doing a D9P with mixed fabrics. Have to sew the blocks into rows, but laid out the blocks and I like it.
I think yours looks great. Just frame it with a border of a strong color and your blocks will blend.
