UGLY QUILT

If it is making you very unhappy, then you may not be motivated to finish your quilt. I am getting the feeling that you would like the stars to stand out more from the background. You could take a narrow navy (or dark blue-- it's hard to tell which shade you already have since computer monitors differ) ribbon or the narrowest bias tape and topstitch it at the outside edge of your stars (butting up to, but not on, your stars).
That would make the stars "pop". Then, a narrow navy (dark blue) border, a slightly wider border that co-ordinates with your prints, and a navy binding would pull everything together.

Those ideas given to add sashing, ect, will be a big help. If after doing that you still don't like it, give it to Community quilts. There are many women and children who end up at the police station, fire stations, ect who have been abused, loose their home, ect. A quilt is a wonderful way to keep them warm until some arrangement can be made for them.
