No, that was my problem, too. That's why the picture that is showing it to the left of the thread slot and away from my view of the needle. Try mounting with something removable first and marking around the circle.

I was in Lowe's this morning and forgot to look for one! It will be handy to have.

WOW, I will have to see if I can attach one to my Elna. I will make a trip to Harbor Freight today. Thanks so much for this idea. It looks like it will work great

Where? Did you get them from Harbor Freight or somewhere else?

I had asked in the earlier thread if the laser can be used on electronic/computer sewing machines, but this thread has answered my question! Using stickies, super glue or command strips should be just fine for attaching the laser and not worry about magnets. Gals, you are the best! I have learned so much from this wonderful forum!

Tks for the extra picture, Kitsie. Makes it so much easier to understand where it's mounted. I have the two I got at Harbor Freight here looking at me saying: "Well, do it already, lol".

I had heard about these but then I read reviews and some people were unhappy with the size of the laser line and the ease of mounting it but since this post I just might try it. Lots cheaper than buying a new machine with that option.

I read that lasers were very dangerous for your eyes! Please do your research
before using one of these. It's being reflected at you.
You know you can't look at one of those laser cat toys...
