That quilt is shaping up, dedemac.

My project today was baking. I made my Mom's old recipe of Pecan Pie Cookies, that she clipped out of the paper in the 50's or 60's. I remembered her baking at Christmas and all her favorite cookie recipes to make. I felt like she was here with me.

I also made some chocolate M&M cookies, for a party tonight.

Has everyone been productive today? I puttered around with various things but didn't really accomplish much of anything!!

I'm planning a New Year's Virtual Quilting weekend for those who are interested. Next regular VQW is January 19-21, 2018. Hope to see you one of those weekends or both

Your projects are great. And it's good to hear others aren't decorated for Christmas. Just 1 week away. Had a party yesterday at the artist guild. What fun.

Finished quilting for a customer. Will deliver on Monday. Not much sewing happening around here.I'm excited to have broadend my art pursuits.

Raggiemom, i’m Interested in a NY QVW. I ‘m planning on doing a new years’s Mystery quilt. The fabric requirement is already posted and basic cutting. I think that’s a great idea. I also want to thank-you for hosting this thread for the last few years. Thank-you very much.

I was pretty productive today. I completed my snowman table runner, my pink, I cut out 3 steps of BHMQ, got fabric together for an small child quilt. I’m organized on completing 1-2 more projects. I’ll post pics tomorrow. Happy sewing everyone.

Dedemac, here you go. The center of the block is 6.5 inches and was made by a quiltboarder who resides in Australia. She gifted it to me. And, I place it in the center of a 12.5 inch block. All my special blocks are in the center of 12.5 inch blocks.

qltnmom, that is a great beachy quilt. I hope it's love at first sight. What a great way to make it through winter with a bit of summer shine to light the way. Well done!!
