I'm excited to have broadend my art pursuits

Wonderful panting! That is something that I have always wanted to be able to do, but sadly it's not my talent.

I'm planning a New Year's Virtual Quilting weekend for those who are interested. Next regular VQW is January 19-21, 2018. Hope to see you one of those weekends or both

I will be at the cabin for the New Year's VQW but will be sewing over there, just very limited internet, so everyone have fun and post lots of pictures! January's one is a busy weekend for me so will see what I can do.

Judith1005 Dedemac, here you go. The center of the block is 6.5 inches and was made by a quiltboarder who resides in Australia. She gifted it to me. And, I place it in the center of a 12.5 inch block. All my special blocks are in the center of 12.5 inch blocks.

Judith, Thank you, the repetition is nicely balanced and the colors are awesome!

Thanks raggiemom for hosting this VQW. Great projects everyone! Judith, I love how you made that block bigger, it is very nice. I didn’t get accomplished as much as I had hoped for, but did finish 2 snowman Table Runners for my DD and DN, as well as a runner for my Aunt. Today, I plan to work on BH.
Merry Christmas everyone!!

Just a update,

Flimsy is done, getting flannel today on my way to work. Then with luck I can get it quilted tomorrow. Trying to decide if I want to bind in purple or pink?

Nice work, Dedemac! I think a purple binding would set it off nicely.

I'm really pleased! I got the scalloped binding on my quilt. I'm now hand sewing it to the back. I used Sharon Schamber's Youtube video and it was very helpful, although I cut a couple of corners and it still came out great.
I didn't think I'd get to it as Saturday was super busy doing other things.
