I'm in---going to a meet & greet for Ricky Tims at the local long arm quilting shop tomorrow right after work; and Sat. morning have a funeral to attend and then we have to get our tree up! We're late this year too. But I have a quilt on the LA that is about 70% finished and then I'm putting the fabric for my DS's quilted vest onto the LA and starting that! Luckily, they will not be here for Christmas until New Year's Eve weekend so I have a little more time--LOL! Oh, and I'll print the clues for BH!

Dedemac, I'm so sorry about your friend's diagnosis. Very sweet of you to make her a chemo quilt. That was how I got into quilting... a friend got cancer! That was years ago and she's still going strong. I wish your friend health and healing too.

I got one of my two children's quilts quilted tonight (big stipple) and the binding sewn to the front and then pinned for STID. I pushed myself so I would be able to start Bonnie Hunter's clue 4 tomorrow!

I'll show my two quilts tomorrow when they both are done (I hope). They are crazy wild, made from strips of novelty fabrics in all colors.

My Christmas sewing is done but fell behind on BH mystery so probably be what I will be working on. Had company for past 2 days and my sewing room doubles as the guest room.

I'll be working on Bonnie Hunter's MQ in every spare minute. I'll be watching to see what everyone else is up to!

Christmas tree, fully decorated, is up all year out in the yard. It's a fat albert blue spruce, that is a special variety that isn't supposed to get too big and mine is 5 feet over what it was supposed to do. It has solar lights.

So that leaves me with all the time to stay in the quilting rooms and play. I'm still on Allitaire. Last night I cut 80 squares the wrong size so you can see I'm going great guns.

Hats off to all your efforts to get BH done for this year's mystery. I admire your skills and perseverance. I'll just print off the directions and put it in my bucket list binder.

I am going to finish quilting my grandson's quil and bind it. Then will embroider the quiltplate and possibly make a few free standing lace ornaments. Fun! Hopefully my daughter will use the weekend to make Christmas goodies!

I wrapped and mailed the last of my out-of-state packages yesterday...yahoo. One to kids and grandkids in Key West, another son and DIL with new baby in California, my mother - also in California and DH’s mother in Massachusetts. I feel like a free woman. LOL

VQW is just what I needed...I’ll be finishing up clue 3 of BH’s mystery and whatever she releases for Clue 4 today.

I feel your pain, Battleaxe- I did the same thing with some of the rectangles for this year’s BH... love your year round Christmas Tree solution!

I'm ready to quilt eight 60 degree table mats to give as presents to female family members next year for Christmas. Hopefully I can get the quilting done this weekend and then hand stitch the binding this week....then pack them away till next year. I'll' dig my 2018 calendar and make a notation on November or Decembers pages where I've put the mats and who gets them.
