I finished hand quilting my 2012 BOM from Raspberry Rabbits, and posted a picture of it in this thread. Adventure of Harrington & Hannah aka Chocolate Bunnies

Thank you for hosting this weekend, we awoke to 14-18" of heavy wet snow Friday AM, and no power. We still do not have power. Woodstove, gas range, and buckets of water. Severe damage from so many broken limbs and trees from all the snow, it's a mess. So I was unable to sew this weekend. However, I did crochet 5 baby blankets. I know this is a quilt forum, but I am requesting a pass due to circumstances beyond my control, to post what I worked on this weekend. Hopefully will wake up to power in the AM. Glad everyone got a lot of work done, and enjoyed their time sewing, I just scrolled through and it was great eye candy.

Well that does not sound like a pleasant way to wake up!

Well, I finished seven of the nine blocks I wanted to get done this weekend. DH and I spent time together watching various programs and catching up on some things. It was a good weekend. I should finish the hand embroidery tomorrow and hopefully get the top assembled so I'm happy . I apologize for not being on here much this weekend, was trying to cut down on computer time a little. Thanks to those who answered questions for others. It looks like many of us had a good weekend which I'm glad to hear.

Next month's VQW will be May 8-10. See you then!

I planned to make masks this weekend, so I pulled out a bunch of fabrics to find fun combinations. Then I made one, didn't like it and looked for another pattern. The first one of each took forever, but I got on a roll and turned a bunch yesterday. We met my DS, DIL and DGC halfway between houses (we live 1.5 hours from them), ordered dinner from a local restaurant and went to a park to eat so I could deliver masks while distancing. Today I got little sewing done but I cleaned up the mess from yesterday and picked fabrics for a quilt for our DGD expected in June. Somewhat less productive than I hoped, but I did get a few things done.

QuiltingVagabond, love your Frolic finish. Congratulations...I especially love your choice of border design and the colors are wonderful.

Quiltah Mama, we only got about 6-8 inches at the Coast and got our power back Saturday afternoon but they are expecting high winds today and more outages. Luckily we have a small generator that runs the coffee pot, furnace, well/septic and a sewing machine. : )
