I am cutting on Clue #4 for the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt. LOTS of tiny triangles (480 to be exact!!!). Will post pics in a little while. My daughter, son in law and 2 year old grandson came for a quick visit today and spending the night, so am not going to get as much done as I had planned. Good luck everyone.

I know the kids and grands can cut into sewing time, but they are such a treasure. I don't see my kids enough so I willingly give up sewing time. Was up at 6:30, and have been working on the runner, things are going along well. I was hoping to see more pictures from the rest of the group, but looks like there is lots of stitching and tying happening here. Time for lunch so taking a break, here is what I have gotten done so far.

Didn't know it would match my wall paper in the sewing room maybe I should keep it?????
Be back latter.

I'm going to continue working on this pattern from the Dec 2015 issue of AP Quilting. My 15 yr old grandson was awsestruck when he saw it. Yippee, another reason to make a quilt!

I've pulled paper off some leftover scraps from another project - not sure what I will do with them yet, but at least they are paper-free.

I also printed the Allietare mystery plan and finalized my selection. If the stars align, I will have some time to sew and join you all.

In the middle of Allietare Clue #4. Seems like I have been cutting and sewing forever. Cutting not all done yet. Only 4 of the 30 sets put together. But I like the way they look. This is really a lot of work. I have never done a quilt with so many pieces in it. In fact, this quilt may have more pieces than all of the quilts I made last year put together!!!

Such beautiful work so far! I plan to finish Christmas ornaments that I plan to use as package decorations on my gifts. Got some mini stockings, some santas and some folded squares going. Will post pictures later!

I have been in my sewing room for the majority of the day. I am working on a OBW, a Darth Vader quilt and a Christmas table runner. The OBW has to be reading for Monday

All was fine with the OBW until I realized that it needed a small dark purple border. Now waiting for the husband to get off of his lathe so he can help me cut the fabric to piece the back and then sandwich the quilt.

Great projects, love the colors in the OBW, and awesome spirals. I've just been following the mystery, not sure I want to do a quilt with that many pieces. Need to get ready for Church, here's my progress today, just need 4 strips on the ends.

Next, how to quilt it.

Everyone seems to be making great progress on their projects. I worked in organizing the sewing room. Hopefully will finish that after church tomorrow and then can work on completing some projects Monday. Husband's birthday is tomorrow so will probably spend part of the day with him.
