I'm in! No beginner quilt classes this weekend, snow is forecast, and I have several projects in process--can't wait!

Oh yes...I have a few projects to catch up on and this will be the perfect weekend to join VQW. I have the last two sections of my Jen Kingwell LTG quilt to assemble and add the border. Thank you Raggiemom for hosting.

We are in South Padre Island, TX for a few weeks and this weekend, starting today, is the RGV (Rio Grande Valley) quilt expo so that is what I am doing today. I did not bring my sewing machine along but do have some hexes along to work on so will work on those off and on. Look forward to see everyone's projects.

I'm in - I told DH that I didn't want to go anywhere this weekend, but then he ran into some problems and has to head back north this afternoon so I agreed to go with him. Should be about 3 hour round trip so not too bad . . .

I also have some "work" I need to get done. Behind on getting the budget draft out - but I figure I can work on that for a few hours and then sew for a few hours - and just switch back and forth.

I'm working on finishing up the last three blocks for the machine embroidery crazy quilt, and am working on piecing some toddler quilts for coworkers. I don't like making baby quilts so I wait until the child is a few years old and then make them something more suited to their personality.

Just pulled off a quilt from the frame that's been sitting since September 2018. Now have my Millinium Star by Pat Speth on the frame but can't decide whether to do an E2E or custom quilt it as its just a utility quilt for me. The blocks keep telling me custom but my mind is telling me go for the E2E all the way and not even do the border separately. Wanted to try my hand at SITD using smoke Poly???? thread I purchased from Superior. Still waiting to see which wins, the blocks or my mind. I'm under the weather a bit so need to recoup first before I do anything with the machine for safety reasons.

I can do this one! Have today off and only working 1/2 day on Monday. Have one thing we have to go out for tomorrow (DH's work is doing a escape room event) but that is one thing that I have been wanting to try. Have the normal house work to catch up on so between those I will be working on a memory quilt for a friend way over due, and a 4 patch for donating at church.

Happy stitching everyone, lots of pictures.

This little wall hanging has been a UFO for about two years. I got it pinned up this morning. I had intended to machine quilt it, but now I'm not so sure. We'll see. I am calling it "Meow". Also there are several of my quilts that need labels. Hope to get that done in the next two days.

Thanks so much for having these Virtual Quilting Weekends. It always helps me get inspired.

Got the top pieced late last year & then set it aside for Christmas projects.
Got the verse added on last weekend.
    Now to quilt it! Wahoo!

I want to hang this in my office at work - I'm a church secretary. =)

(We've all probably seen the inspiration wallhanging floating around Pinterest. I tried to find/purchase a pattern - never could find one. Sooo, I'm winging it on my own... )
