Wow, everyone's getting so much done. On the other hand, I have had a very lazy couple of days. I seem to be stuck for ideas on how to finish several UFO panels- so those got put back on the UFO pile. Then I thought I'd work on my doodle quilt that has storm at sea pattern stitched in the center- that needs to have colored appliqué to bring out the pattern, but I haven't been able to decide how I want the colors to go. I'll leave that one up on the design wall while I work on some other UFOs.

I think maybe I'm just going to pull out some UFO D4P and make some quilted table protectors out of them. That might be an easy way to get my mojo going again while also making the UFO pile shrink...

Finished a tote that I started in a class last week. The lady who taught the class was from New Zealand and had all these pretty reverse applique patterns.

Your tote bag is beautiful, Watson!

I had a bunch of baby stuff to get sewn. Haven't finished all the Boppy covers yet, but I got all the bibs and caps made. I will have Boppy covers in the same fabrics soon.

Here's the one Boppy cover I did complete. These are soft cotton knit and zip on and off the Boppy pillow.

I did get some knitting done! I finished this pair of mitts for my DIL's Christmas:

Yes, there are two... just can't photograph both at once!

I finished sewing up this unicorn toy for one of my baby granddaughters and thought you might like to see it:

I have to work in the morning tomorrow, but maybe I can get to some quilting in the afternoon.

I have finished three quilts so far this weekend--quilted, bound and labelled. I have another one ready to quilt tomorrow. Our refrigerator quit working this weekend so we had to pick out a new one. Unfortunately it won't be delivered until a week from tomorrow! So ended up throwing out a lot of the basic stuff I normally keep on hand in the refrigerator. At least it's a holiday weekend so there were sales. My husband decided we should use the smoker yesterday so that cut into my quilting time as well!

I've read through all the comments. I see there are a couple newcomers again this time, welcome and hope you join us again next month. I have truly enjoyed seeing all the pictures and reading about what you're working on. I'm thinking about trying a reverse applique project over the summer so was interested to see the reverse applique tote.

Can't wait to see how much more we all accomplish tomorrow!

I enjoy seeing everyone’s work. So much variety in projects. I wish I could join you, but I.m still in PT for my shoulder. I need to keep strengthening the muscles, not hunching forward at my machine. Instead of sewing, I’m purging quilt magazines, cleaning up my sewing room, rehoming certain scraps. And I hope hubby or son will install new window shades.

I didn't get my strata/3-piece segments done yesterday as I had hoped for the wonky bright project, still about 25 sets short. Two things were discord at my mom's house in the early morning (my sewing time) and having to pack up and go home which had been planned in advance. Plus I was rapidly running out of scraps and had to get a few more pieces to blend in with the others. Fortunately the bag was just stuff from a year or so back from Walmart and Joann, and I was able to get some pieces from the same collection but different color versions than what I had for cheap, I think a package of 5-6 fat quarters was only $3, a couple fat quarters were $.50 each, and I even bought one at $0.97! But it was cute and just sort of hopped in the cart with the others and besides, I really needed more grey to blend in with the other sets (fabric collector excuses). I still have tomorrow to sew now that I'm finished unpacking. Originally I had hoped I'd get all the blocks completed by the end of the weekend but that isn't looking too realistic...

Quilting Vagabond....there is nothing to reverse applique once you've got all your supplies. 3 fabrics, pattern, fuseable and sharp, pointy scissors, then a machine to topstitch. It's really easy.

I'm so proud! I actually got the borders on my quilt top that was on the design wall when I broke my ankle 4 months ago. It wasn't a hard decision what to use for the borders. When I got the fabrics out, the only one that I had enough of was the white and I barely had enough of that. It's going to have to wait a bit now before I sandwich and quilt it. I don't have anything to back it so it will require a trip to the quilt shop.
