I took a picture and realized that this is not, "Sister's Choice." Augh! Sorry. (I'm currently piecing that top though.) I can't remember that name of this quilt. Anyway it's for my DH's office bed.

Here it is, unpressed, or attached to the sandwich.

Thanks for the conversations and the pictures everyone!

I sorted quite a bit of fabric that was in a bin and started to cut for tomorrow’s sew along through GEDesign. The first live video starts at 9 and then every hour through 5 p.m.

Off to a slow start, leave it to swollen, arthritic knees and a migraine that came out of nowhere to slow me down, I was in bed all day Saturday trying to recover.

I am going to go ahead and do the binding for my sister's quilt this morning, I'd rather have that job just out of the way so I can concentrate on her quilt when it comes time. Still have more to do with the hexagon quilt, that'll be next once I get the binding done.

Have to agree with everyone that said it, VQWs are great motivators, it's almost like we're in this one big sewing room all working on our projects at the same time. I love it.

I got those curvy pieces sewn for DP. Today, using the new cordless iron to press. Yesterday's sunny afternoon interfered with my sewing. Hubby BBQed and friends with teenage boys visited and rode dirt bikes while we swam.

On both Friday & Saturday I worked on a top with applique pieces. I outlined each piece, some very small, to make them stand out. That's all done. My quilting friend came & got the top & back so we can sandwich the quilt today. Then we'll quilt & bind it. It's a quilt for my SIL, who bought all the fabric, to give to her niece. If I simply describe it, it'll sound odd, so I'll wait until it's finished to show pix. It may not be completed until tomorrow, but we deliver it Tuesday, so it will be done by then!
