I will be working on a baby quilt and cutting out a Storm at Sea. I'm away for the weekend but will be home on Sunday late afternoon. It's a holiday on Monday so hope to spend the whole day working on my quilting.

Yea! one more quilted!
I did a free hand all over meander on this one. I've found it's faster to do FMQ on the smaller ones than it is do use the robotics. And I need the practice too.
I'm going to load 7 yards of purple backing on the frame, and then start on the 8 lap/wall hanging size floppies I made using the leftover fabric from the vestments I made for the chapel where I work. There are two of each.

I've had a bit of a slow start--STILL working on my competition quilt and think I see the end in site on the quilting. Spent about 3 hours working on it today and planned to continue this evening after getting home from buying more fabric for a customer t-shirt quilt and dinner--but overate at the restaurant--but I will get it done this weekend! Ditto the piecing on the t-shirt quilt.
My UFO's will have to wait until a 4 day retreat the end of April as I have so many deadlines with this competition and customer quilts.

Love virtual quilting weekends. I'll be sandwiching this quilt top this weekend. I pieced the back and I just got the batting last night, so I'm ready to go. I'm hoping to get some quilting done on it. I'll also be cutting fabric for the next top that I want to make.

Macybaby, your project is stunning...
Unfortunately, Easter is a busy retail day for my store and I will be working all day and then traveling to see family tomorrow. If any time allows late Sunday, I have hand basted (for the first time) Mystery #16 which I plan to FMQ on my DSM.

I will be working on my version of "birch Trees" I am using all stash, except for the trees, and I am quilting as you go, on the blocks. I am using all that leftover flannel for the backing and pieces of left over batting. The only thing I have bought for this quilt was the tree fabric. I wanted it to be the same all over. Have a family thing on Sunday, so today will be my only day to quilt. Happy sewing to all and have a very blessed Easter.
