Starting a day late. Tomorrow I plan to cut out a baby quilt, practice my FMQ on a pink baby quilt. I have 1 block to complete and the border. Then mark and hopefully sew Christmas 1/2 square triangles. Over 100 of these. Then finish my BHMQ top.

I'm working on the National Quilters Circle's 2019 Challenge. Block a week for 8 weeks. It's now 6:00 am in Dallas and I have been up since 1:30 working on it. Have insomnia real bad but great for quilting.

Good morning All, I have 6:48am Kansas Time "rvsfan" and I've been woke since four am and haven't got a thing done. At least your are more motivated. This 20 yo project that I'm working on keep giving me problems. Now the borders don't work out evenly. But, I'm determined to stick with it. One day if not this one I shall finish it. All the pictures are great everyone.

Happy sewing everyone

Nice work everyone!

I've got 5 quilts with the binding sewed on one side, and have the bindings for 11 more ready to go. I need to go out to my LA shed to get matching thread for stitching down the second side (I do it all by machine) and we've got a rain storm right now. Looked online and it looks like this is going to be with us for a while, so I'm waiting for a break and will make a dash - hmm, sounds like the rain has let up so I'd better go!

Then it will be back to sewing on bindings.

Have a great sewing day everyone!

Hope everyone had a lovely holiday yesterday. I basted some hexagons and cut out some hexie papers yesterday. I have to work today, but I'll be making more hexies over the weekend. I want to get all the hexies made for the last three rows then all I have to do is put them together. Have fun everyone.

I did not finish a project but I sure did work on a few UFO's. i am reworking the tutorial for my Cathedral Windows. It is 90% complete. I hope to have it done by the end of the weekend so I can post it. #2. I have another quilt laid out on my living room floor ready to be pieced together. #3. The frog stitching on the quilt on the frame is going slower than molasses in January! I hope to have it finished before the end of the weekend and possibly even quilted. So I have a great deal in the works I am hopeful that I will see at least 2 of the 3 finished.

Working on this table runner made from 5" squares. Always wanted to try a braided quilt but instead of finding a pattern I stupidly decided to just wing it. Not only did I not start correctly, I sewed the pieces in the wrong order and didn't notice until I was done with the first section. Now I don't know how to deal with the ends. You can't see from the photos but one end of each section ends in a V and the other ends in a point. I have to cut off about 2 inches from each end in order to square it up. The black borders and center strip are not yet sewn on. I still like it, though and don't intend to rip it out but any suggestions for finishing the ends would be appreciated. Also, which do you like better, the "arrows" going the same way or one section going one way and the other the opposite way.

janjanq, I love your colours! I prefer the braids going in the opposite directions, just for fun!
