I like the way you think. LOL But I better quilt this and most of my UFOs myself. My son gave me a sit down Gammill Charm and I'm re-learning FM quilting on a larger scale. I have loads of tops to use for practice. And I often make Community quilts for our guild. Besides, I don't know enough or feel confident enough to teach a class on FMQ as it's been years since I quilted my own quilts. That's one reason why I have so many UFOs. I got to the quilting part and stopped. I am on a mission to finally get some of them completed. I did manage to get the top I needed for class quilted. Yay! One down and many numbers left to quilt.

Before I put away my blue scraps from making the teddy bear binding, I made a placemat for guild, they decided for the New Year to choose a colour each month for the Meals on Wheels program, just for fun! Lucky it was blue for January.

Hi, Dedemac. Since they are so small, I just start sewing with scraps, no foundation. I’m careful not to pull the scraps since many are sewn on the bias. I just keep adding until I get to my desired size plus some then trim. I do use a very short stitch length as well. Easy peasy. It’s hard to stop making them!

Janice - sounds like what I do, I was wondering since yours are more block-ish while mine seem to be all different directions, I managed to finish 4 this weekend and have about 9 more in various sizes to finish.
Such wonderful pictures and projects this month, well done everyone.
Heather thank you for hosting the VQW, hope to be able to sew with you next month.

Love your blocks. Mine tend to be more geometric using lots of rectangles and squares. I have trouble adding triangles or other shapes although I think they’re more interesting to look at.
