Here is my finish for the weekend. It was cold here so it was nice to stay in an sew. I also managed to organize my material & clean my sewing room.

Except for binding, I finished my quilt Unwind. It's actually for my bed. It used 14 FQs & some yardage from stash. I bought 4 FQs & the backing, but the majority of fabric was stash. I quilted on Saturday & rested my shoulders yesterday. I plan to bind it today.

I’m almost done with my temp quilt. Just need to quilt the key and bind it. It took a lot longer to adjust the outer borders than I thought it would. Oh well, tomorrow’s another day.

I didn't get as much quilting in as planned, but that seems to always happen on these VQW .... anyway I decided I needed to give my back a change and have started to cut some of the pieces for a pattern I purchased a few years back, while on vacation. Forest Galorest https://javahousequilts.com/shop/for...v=3e8d115eb4b3 A little challenging trying to remember what fabrics I had chosen for what blocks as of course I have to make it my own colours

Conchalea, I love the unwind quilt! Such great colors and design.

qltnmom the temp quilt is looking good! Cute quilting on that one.

I don’t know so many get so much done in a day much less a weekend. I only managed to get one small block finished and bound, the binding on the charity quilt, some beading on a hankie wall quilt which is far from being done, then two whole blocks for new placemats. Of course half of today was chauffeur to dr. Appointments,
Have really enjoyed seeing what everyone worked on. Fantastic work one and all. Looking to the next vq

Well, I didn't finish all that I wanted to, but I sandwiched 6 of the 8 quilts that I hoped to do and I finished the binding on one other WIP. I'll have the other 2 sandwiched tomorrow and maybe start on the binding Wednesday. It never gets finished... I just keep on making those new blocks! Yippee!!

Wow! Lots of sewing, cleaning, etc, happening on this thread over the weekend. Thanks for posting what you are working on and pictures.

I did a lot of sewing this weekend but it doesn't seem like much was accomplished. I have been working on the Bonnie Hunter Mystery quilt and it takes time to put those blocks together as many of you know. I also made a block for a BOW which was posted a week ago. I have today's new block cut out and ready to sew the first sections. I also put 2 borders on a quilt but I put it on the top and bottom instead of the sides so now I need to cut more strips for the side and adjust my other borders for the length. I should have taken a break before I sewed those on. Oh, well.

I wasn’t satisfied with the usual string blocks setting, so I sewed them to plain print squares the same size, cut diagonally, and turned them all into scrappy HSTs. Might arrange them in either zigzag columns or in pinwheels.

This was a great VQW. Thanks everyone, for sharing your projects.
