Virtual Quilting Weekend--January 18-20, 2019

SewBiz -- great quilts. Is the first one the Mystery Train 20? It look like that pattern except for the scrappy sashing.
All the projects look wonderful! Seeing that courthouse steps makes me want to create one. Heaven knows I have enough scraps.

I finished the last two blocks for the Cloudy Day Sampler, cut out the sashing and pieced the nine patch cornerstones. I'll start assembling it tonight and hopefully finish it tomorrow. This will be a large throw quilt.

LOL! I wish. But really, I do have quite a few. I usually get a yard or a half yard. That's why I have such a good variety. Thinking about starting another top. Maybe you'll see it during the next virtual weekend.

I’ve been quilting my temperature quilt that I finished piecing last July. I quit today after I ripped a hole in one square. OOPS!
I’ll take pictures of my progress tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s one of it before I added the final borders

It was one of those days where little things kept taking up my time and preventing me from sitting down to sew. But I did manage to stitch up a few more strippy triangles, and maybe I'll work on some applique before calling it a night.
