did the quilting on my panel challenge--not much to look at and the quilting is mostly lost into the chaotic pieced top. Oh, well...now to bind tomorrow for the quild potluck and challenge "unveiling" on Thurs.

First time to work on either the long arm or the regular machine in 2 weeks due to g-boys here and train trip to St. Louis and was plenty "rusty". Was having tension issues on long arm that didn't just fix themselves while I was on vacation!

I definitely got more done this long weekend being a part of this VQW. I sure hope to participate in the future. I managed to finish another charity quilt and piece backings to 2 lap quilts. Also, sandwiched them and they are ready to quilt, hopefully finish later this week. . Thanks everyone for great motivation and pictures. D. Henson, Thanks for your comments. The points are off in places and right on in other places. If I could figure out how to be consistent...that would be great. I'm not sure I would do another one with so many pieces. But I sure had fun on my virtual quilting weekend...even had some company!

Thank you ReggieMom for this weekend. It has kept me going on my Sylvia's Bridal Quilt. I got my 9 blocks from the weekend to post under the Sylvia's Thread (#1114). I won't be able to sew next month, but will hopefully in Sept. My DD and her children are spending 10 days with us then.

Well, I'm a little late posting my pictures! But I did get my room organized and the Lemoyne blocks done, didn't get the top pieced but it's ready.

Your room looks great! It will be so nice to work in. The problem I run into in my weaving studio is I have so many projects going on that I will tidy and organize and then once I start working, everything is everywhere again
