I'm excited to join in with all you lovely and busy ladies. I started out today a little frustrated today when the block for the monthly meeting came out wrong so I can't finish it. But I'm moving on and I should be able to get the last 2 borders quilted on my snowflake quilt. Also I really need to start new pillowcases for our bed since the ones I made to go with the quilt and valance are falling apart. Aside from that I still have the quilt that I am hand quilting to work on so I am set for projects while hubby watches movies until time for the race at Daytona. Wouldn't it be fun to run out of projects and needed to start a new one?!

I've always noticed this VQW after it's practically over, but caught this one a little quicker. Yeaaaa me. lolo I think I might like to play along. I've had my DGS visiting for the last 2 wks, and believe it or not, I have gotten sewing done. He went home this afternoon. This morning I did 2 embroidery items for my DGD's birthday which is Monday. I have a couple blocks to make and another project to work on, so hopefully can manage to get all these done, or at least a fierce start on them. Will post pics as I go along.

got the design together to support a medalion. Time to rippit is at least as much as sewing times. Then discovered an extra row. It's going together on the diagonal. The corner triangles are the wrong size and I need a working brain to figure out how to fix it. So it's shower time. See you tomorrow.

I made some progress today. I was able to finish one of my basket blocks and prepped the next four. I also started the quilting on my mini.

Working on several projects this VQW: cutting 42 10.5 in squares that will be made into donation quilts by a church group; working on assembling a Veteran's quilt for an Honor Flight in Sept.,
Finishing putting my sewing room back in order after replacing floor and installing closet storage. Will post pics by end of long weekend! Thanks for hosting these days-very motivating.

Just finished my latest wall hanging for the kids' diningroom at work. This quilt was inspired by one I saw in the recent issue of Canadian Quilter.
