Thank you Heather for hosting. Success this weekend
I got the four table runners done that I was hoping to get done. Bonus, I got the pile of batting that has been on my studio floor for about a month all cut and ready to be used for future table runners.
Cams gram, love your quilt and the borders your adding to it.
Reading through. It looks like there was several sewing machines a going this weekend. Yeah....... Take care everyone, looking forward to the bonus weekend this month. Until then, happy sewing everyone.

I finished the second quilt that needed binding. Yippee! It was too dark to take a good photo and snowing, so I'll try to post one tomorrow. Making progress on Christmas ornaments.Need at least 10 more but could use 20 if the yarn lasts that long.
The other odds and ends will be worked on tomorrow and Tuesday. Must get them done and out of the way.
So many beautiful finishes and progress. Looks like we all made a dent in out "To Do List".

Glad to report I did manage to get a little bit of time in the sewing room - not a ton of progress but I got a quilt trimmed and am almost done with the binding.
Thanks for the company and motivation to get some work done this weekend!

Looks like lots of accomplishments this weekend amd some beautiful finishes. I hope those not feeling well are feeling better.
I got everything cut that needed cutting, and even managed to get all the strips for the 4 patches sewn and cut! I hope to make some major progress this week on the rest of the blocks.
Looking forward to the Thanksgiving special edition!

Been having back issues and lots of leg cramps, residual effect from my fall last year. My mind wants to sew and quilt, but the body says no. Still I told myself I was going to get this top I made months ago for Project Linus quilted....and I did! Have a million patterns and fabric, just have to work a little at a time.

LogCabin82, What a charming and intricate seahorse! A wonderful finish on the cold November weekend.
I snapped a photo of my second binding finishing. It has been in progress for nearly two years. On point and I don't get on very well, but I finished. It will be gifted in the next few weeks to a women who unknowingly served as a mentor to me as a young wife many years ago.
Other projects I made this weekend: two drawstring gift bags and 6 more ornaments as well as the two encouragement blocks for my quilting group friend who lost her home in a fire. nearly everything on my list!
Congratulations to all who made beautiful progress by focusing on quilting projects this weekend. I will see you in a few weeks during our Special VQW following the Thanksgiving Feast!.

Great finishes everyone! Sorry to hear you are ill Heather, I'm guessing you missed retreat? Bummer! My retreat in Shipshewana was awesome as usual. Drumroll please.... I started putting my Dear Jane blocks together!! My other project was to finish a Judy Niemeyer Wedding Ring table topper from a recent class.
