Michele C-love your flower quilt. It is so pretty in the fabrics you used.
Watson-very nice projects. Especially like the pouch you made with the cork like fabric.
I am just lurking and enjoying this topic. Waiting for a college girl to bring by sweatshirts for me to put emblems on so I don't want to start a project right now.

On my list of things to do this weekend was to take a better picture of the round robin I've been participating in. This was my last round to do, it goes to the post office on Monday to it's owner, the creator of the center. Each of our centers was entirely different and each of our tops is also entirely different. I'm just so impressed by the skills and talents or our fellow board members, I've already posted this in our round robin thread but wanted to share it with you all here.

And now back to those flying geese and other combines!

Jordan - thank you! I just love the Kaffe fabrics in the collection.

Iceblossom - that round robin is beautiful! All of the participants should be so proud!

No quilting yet this morning. Sunday is the day that my daughter and I call my mom on video and it’s laundry day. I prefer to get those things done or at least started earlier in the day. Our weather turned rather nasty overnight. It snowed a few inches and then warmed up. It’s now raining and it’s a slushy mess outside.

I hope to see more pictures today. Even when I don’t participate, the VQW is fun to watch and see all the projects in progress.

I am going slower that I thought I would. I have the last 4 blocks cut out new and ready to piece them together. I had a busy morning that prevented me from sewing. So I am back at it a bit. Just stopping for a break here. I will get all the pieces laid out here shortly and begin stitching. As the day goes on I am not to sure if I will finish this before the night is over. I have to take care of DH here shortly and the sew away.

Slow to post today, but have been busy...

It's one of those Sunday's where I hit the ground running, right now the fiancé is in the living room giving it a good vacuum, I've been working in the kitchen and when I take breaks, I've been in my quilting corner.

I think I'm up to 30 blocks done out of 36, I haven't counted today, but that feels about right. On top of that, I've been printing off some quilt patterns from Jordan's Fabrics, organizing those quilt patterns into my organizer, window shopping for fabric for future quilts and then sewing. Hoping tomorrow will be less hectic, I'd like to think I'll have all the blocks done and I can start working on putting them with the blank blocks. We shall see!

Well, when I saw the VQW thread started, I wasn't sure if I would be able to join in, but it turns out I was able to, yeah me. We're having a classic Indian summer here in central Maine. 70's here the past three days, with two more to go. The yard work has been done for a few weeks, but I got outside yesterday just to enjoy the warm sun.
i did get 30 pillow fronts cut and stencilled. And in the process of cleaning up this morning after they were all finished, I don't know what got into me, but.....the entire studio got rearranged and entirely cleaned, even behind and under everything that was moved. Wow it just sparkles now.
Thank you Raggiemom for hosting, reading through t he post, you sure do know how to motivate us. 👍 I will confess, I have only read the first three pages, but am going to go back now and finish reading and seeing what everyone has been working on, I always find it so inspiring and motivating.

Just put these LED lights on my low end sewing machines and OMG,,,What a difference they make. Easy to install. Tape that is provided. Has a dimmer switch that is lots of fun to play with. Plugs into my lap top that is next to my machine or power strip on the floor. I was worried may be poor quality but don't think so. Delivery was slow but worth the wait.

Quiltah Mama--glad you were able to join us!

MicheleC--how much snow are you getting?

Panchita--thanks for the Penguin BOM information. I may have to get that

    petthefabric--hope the quilting therapy helps.

Iceblossom--sorry your quilting time was cut short. My husband has been working from home since March. He's here ALL the time. He actually had to go into the office last week for an afternoon and I was so excited

I finished all the stuff I had on my agenda for the weekend, I'm thrilled with the weekend. I hope the rest of you are happy with what you got done. Sounds like people were quite productive. See you all next month.

I didn't get much done on Friday because I had to take my truck to the repair shop. I did some prep work for the weekend and then on Saturday I bought the fabric for my great grandson's quilt and the color grabbers. I washed 3 table runners that I made from kits I bought from Jordan Fabrics and they are ready to be mailed. I practiced my free motion quilting which I really need to brush up on and then I finally finished the Autumn wall hanging I started in June and it is quilted and hanging up in my sewing room. The fabric for my great grandson's quilt has also been washed and ironed and is ready to be cut out but I won't try that tonight. I like to do that when my mind is fresh so it will probably be tomorrow morning. I really enjoyed this VQW as it got me motivated and since today was rainy from Tropical Storm Eta is was perfect for quilting.
