Quiltingshorttimer: That's great news that your husband didn't have a stroke. I pray he is able to return home tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your projects.

I cut a lot of 9" squares today and have the quilt blocks up on my design wall. I couldn't get a good picture of it tonight so will try again tomorrow.

Shorttimer, thanking God your hubby didn't have a stroke. How scary is that? Sounds like a flooring installation and a hospital discharge on the same day could be pretty stressful. Hope it all smooths out for ya.

Cheesehead, This pattern is from an old Quiltmaker issue. The pattern name is Ice Capades.

NZquilter, I know ..... this quilt is adorable. It's been sitting in my baby quilt binder for awhile.

Count me in on the VQW. Tomorrow I have to finish quilting and binding a doll quilt for my Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. I made 4 quilts so bought things for 4 little girls, including a doll (of course) . Deadline to turn them in at our church is Sunday, so this is going to happen!

Then ,if I have any umph left on Sunday (today has been a very long day on my feet) then I'll finish piecing a log cabin quilt. One more block to go. Whoopwhoop.

Quiltingshorttimer- Glad to hear it wasn’t a stroke and hoping you’ll be able to bring him home today.

Sewbiz- the beanie pattern was from a Craftsy class called Sewing with Fleece. Very simple pattern. Your panel looks great with those plaids, good choice!

Sync- those skating penguins are adoreable! I love it!

Well ladies, I’m off to the Shipshewana Vintage Christmas Market and lighting ceremony today, so there won’t be any sewing happening around here. I do hope to get a little fabric shopping done while there though. Happy sewing today everyone!

I got my blocks laid out. I like to take a picture at this point to see if anything looks out of place. I'm sewing it together today.

I did get two more blocks done last night before I collapsed into bed. I'm worried that BH mystery will have a lot of those little black corners which for me are a time eater. I just can't do them very fast. She wants everyone to have that Doug Leko ruler, that's my clue that there will be lots of them.

Glad DH did not have a stroke. Bell's Palsy is enough.

Marcia

P.S. kp3590 .....if you can't get a table there in Ship, come out to the Coppertop and have a tempura fried green apple chicken roasted sandwich. Plus their fries are totally yummy too.
