Can you explain more about your car caddies, and grocery sack sleeves?

Sounds interesting and I am ALWAYS looking for new small things to make.

Finished sewing and trimming my Thangles, all 208 of them! I still need to press them and tear the papers off but now I am heading to my DDs for a cookout.
Working tomorrow and DGS has a 1st birthday party Sunday, so I may or may not be back for VSW!

I'm planning for a quilting weekend! My hubby and DS are out of town visiting the inlaws and I'm "stuck" home since I'm on call for work (I work in IT). So far no calls today!

I'm working on figuring out my new Pfaff Performance 5.0, then doing a small project to make placemats for my mom. Figured that would be a good way to work though use of the machine. So far I've figured out how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine, and change to the single needle plate. I've started on the first placemat and so far so good.

It looks like it could rain this afternoon. Plan to work on my Jacob's Ladder Remix, and later to a grill party with a few friends. The rest of the weekend can be sew, sew, sew. Everyone enjoy this long holiday!

DD and I are sewing together today. I made lunch and she brought her doggie over so we could spend the day together. DD is making a bow tuck bag with a zipper and I'm working on granny squares quilt blocks. First picture is DD, second picture is her fabric, the pretty colors are the outside and the green is the lining and bottom, the third picture is my granny square blocks.

Yikes- I'm going to cut out strips for my 1st Bargello. Dina, Dina has been helping me get my fabrics in the right order-she was so nice to help me. Soooo- tomorrow I begin. My DH will be golfing, and I will have nothing to bother me except our 3 dogs. My concentration will be at its best (I hope).

You sure have a wonderful area to sew in, great light. Hope you accomplish what all you both have planned.

This is the pattern for the car caddy, it's really simple to make and doesn't take long.

The grocery sack sleeve is a pattern from Me and My Sister Designs. It's pretty simple to make too. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I was still confused about your grocery sack sleeve...lol

So I went to the website and found the pattern.......duh NOW I understand.
I made one of these YEARS ago.

Great idea to make some for the craft fair and bird expo.
