Default Well, there go my plans....

I planned to sandwich 2 queen sized quilts this weekend and then start quilting them. However, I seem to be out of queen sized batting! I have crib, craft, twin, full and king but no queen. Fortunately, batting is 50% off at joanns.com so I ordered 4 packages. In the meantime, I'll just have to find something else to work on I guess. Not like I don't have plenty of choices

I wouldn't be able to wait. I would use my King size one and cut it down. I'd use the leftover batt for tablerunners or smaller projects. When I'm ready to quilt, I want to quilt!

It might be easier and cheaper, to get a roll of batting. That way, you can just cut whatever width you need.

Never fear, I had a king sized top ready to be sandwiched. That is done and I am in process of quilting it. Just SITD though as it's so darn bulky and awkward. I think that's what happened to my queen sized battings, I cut them down from something else. I have lots of smaller pieces for table runners and stuff so didn't really want to cut down the king sized for a queen. I have plenty of projects to keep me busy until the queen batting arrives. They don't need to be done until after July 4. I'm SITD for both of those quilts too, they're rail fence.
