I have a pretty good variety of colors because I mostly applique. I don't have many gray or tan.

Blue.
Very little green or orange...grew up with way, way, way too much of those colors.

I sort and store my fabric by color and when I looked I was surprised that I have a lot of greens. I suppose I shouldn't be as my husband is from Ireland, but I have a lot more than 40 shades of green!

I love reds the most but have a hard time finding them in the right tone, they're either too orange or too brown. So, even though they're my favorite I have the least amount of them in my stash.

No Pink.

Lots of black/White, Black/Red White/Rd from a quilt for my son.

Loads of Kaffe is all sorts of colourways.

Loads of purple, orange and turquoise batiks and some with all three colours together.

Most; Coral, but purple is showing up more.
Least; Gray, which is funny because I've needed gray for both a table runner and quilt recently and have one more table runner that will need gray.

What a difficult question. : ) It doesn't help that I currently don't separate by color but by designer/collection/theme. My stash heavily favors bright multi-colored prints. In solids I have very few pastels, little black or brown & absolutely no tan (I can't stand that color). I might have a few fat quarters of blenders & batiks but that is it. At a glance I have plenty of bold oranges & pinks & much less of yellow.

I thought the same thing while reading this ("but they are complimentary colors!") lol

I have honestly been thinking about this exact question the last couple days! I'm very anxious to see what color stands out in my stash. I just started quilting a few months ago but dove in head first. I've made 6 quilts but 5 of them have been for babies so that skews color results. I've been acquiring lots of fabric and precuts since then, some with a specific pattern or person in mind, some not. Just last night we put the finishing touch on the furniture we built for my new sewing (half) room so I am finally to the point I can jump into my stash to organize and display it. Everything is in tubs so far. I know a lot of my precuts are multi colored and batiks (my faves) but I'm anxious to see what becomes prominent when I get everything out. My yardage is getting wrapped onto comic boards and my precuts will be displayed/organized somehow - eventually. I'm digging into those tubs tonight after work - I can't wait! Thanks for this question, it's fun to read all the responses!
