I was thinking that I would make one green quilt. What color would you make the other quilt?

I am thinking of making Log Cabins, one each of two different designs.
Make both of them in the colors of your avatar. Babies and young children love bright colors. froggyintexas

I vote for a nice peach or lavender.

I like lavender or yellow, too. or what about a subtle orange for a change.

IMHO...I'd do an I Spy quilt...not gender specific at all. Jut buy juvie fab. Just did one and I did snowball blocks. Just so darn cute and approp for boy or girl. I'd skip baby blue and pinks and go w/ RED Blue GREEN. Skip pastels. They show dirt way too quickly!

I always thought this would be a cool pattern to use for twins, choosing two fabrics for the two smaller stars to represent the babies (and alternate them in each blanket, so each one is being held in his/her own blanket) and a coordinating print for the "mom."

Haven't had any twins to make blankets for, though, so it's still on my list of things to do...

If you are making a log cabin pattern. Use primary colors (brights) and a black, white, red is a good choice. I've seen a lot of nurserys done in black/white/red and it is very attractive
