Hubby gave me a Silhouette Cameo 4, now I'm trying to learn how to use it for quilting. He also gave me a canner. I've been reading through Judy Laquidara's blog and have become fascinated with canning. I've done hot water bath canning before; now I am able to can meats, sauces, etc. Pretty excited about that!

We haven't bought each other gifts for a long time. If we want something any time of the year, we just go buy it. We always get just what we want.

He said he found it at Hobby Lobby. Must have been with his girlfriend. He wouldn't go there by himself!

I've been acquainted with Judy Laquidara since Alex Anderson's old quilting forum!! She is full of knowledge about food, gardening, and knitting. Even had a published quilt book. I think she does more knitting now then quilting.

I found the jelly roll mug and a few more quilting mugs at Hobby Lobby in the notion dept.

same here...

my two sons and DILs chipped in to get me a dehydrator ... I have already dehydrated strawberries, bananas and pineapple and today hubby picked up a chunk of flank steak so I can make some jerky. I really wanted the dehydrator for my summer gardening hobby...fresh herbs and sun dried tomatoes

My husband got me a gift certificate for my LQS, a shot glass that says "Tequila Told Me I Could..." and a custom pool cue. I already play better! (Which isn't that hard, seeing I'm not that good...)
