    initials that everyone uses like UFO's and DD, etc. confused. :roll:

    ufo's are unfinished objects...dd is darling daughter, wip- work in progress...sil...son in law or sister in law?hmmmm...get the idea? check out the abreviations link above, but when you think about it you will be able to figure out most of them...mil...mother in law...ds, dear son, dh dear hubby...
    fq's fat quarters....there are tons of them...

    I know a lot of the sewing abbreviations but when it gets to the ones people use to text message I get totally lost. If you don't find the one you are looking for just shout out. Someone will know what it means. Oh, there is another really good post I think you will like. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-40785-1.htm. It is about speciality cuts.

    I was just going to ask this. I have figured out some of them but others have me sitting here shaking my head in confusion which is common but you know with new words :()
