I love doing bindings but I think I live too far away. Move to Australia and we can be BFF.

That's the ticket. All of who like to do just parts should all move closer together and between all of us we could be quilting factories  Until then we just do what we enjoy doing and find friends who enjoy doing the parts we don't.

Well, if you like to piece, I can call you a piece-maker (or a Peace-maker!)..... You mentioned that you are working on strip quilts now, so I guess that means I can call you a Stripper!

You've found your niche and are lucky enough to find others to go along with yours. Makes everybody happy.

I love piecing quilts......not much for the cutting part....but wish i could machine quilt them....so far my efforts have been nothing but frustrating...thank goodness i can at least handquilt...lol we all have parts of the process we like better...if only i could afford to have them quilted....someday...meanwhile, i`ll keep piecing...lol enjoy playing with your fabric!!!!!

So what am I?

Fortunately my group I sew with has several people who don't like to cut, and absolutely love to find enough blocks in our orphan block box to put together and make a quilt.
And we have several long armers who do the quilting of the soldier quilts.

Over the last seveal years I've made several hundred 6" crumb blocks. I find it very relaxing but another person has collected all the small scraps from our group to use as stuffing for pet beds for shelters. So now I'm doing strips.

For those of you who don't enjoy cutting-have you tried the GO? Does a great job cutting! I love mine.

Okay Judith1005 and NativeTexan, I will cut and piece, and occasionally, sandwich; I do despise the quilting part. Just not good at it. I think we should make a club on the board: Pass around blocks, have a couple of us sew them, another couple bind, etc. I will even donate batting!
