Thanks to all of you who took time to give your opinion. Seems the feeling here is that it IS a hand-made quilt. It will be described as a hand-made quilt, with no mention of any hand quilting. I feel better about saying so now. This is something that has bothered me for a while.

I would call it hand made. Home made has a lower class connotation... Like it is worth less because it was just made at home.

It is handmade...not just "hand" quilted. Made with a sewing machine is still hand made.

I would say HOME made for the fliers. I understand what you're saying but to clarify for others so they don't think "you" tried to mislead them by the word hand I would put home.

It is definitely 'hand made' whether its machine or hand quilted on the label I always put whether it is hand or machined pieced and the same with the quilting

Of course it is hand made. Made by your hands not at a factory. I count any thing some one makes at home as hand made. Hand made home made, I believe are the same. Put what ever makes you feel good. It was so nice of you to go to all of that work making something I do not think anyone will object what ever you choose to put. After all it is the thought that counts.

Yes, it is hand made. There might have been a time when "hand made" meant not machine made, but that is long past. Hand made in my opinion means made by your hands as opposed to being commercially made.
