What is the easiest quilt you've made?

The easiest and quickest quilt to make are squares of at least 6 x 6 in. squares, sometimes same size batting included inbetween, depending on the thickness of the material. It's the shag quilt. You sew big X's in the middle between the two squares, leaving 1/2 inch on the edges, which you clip to make it shaggy and it's so quick. You can make it as big as you want. Here's one I made for my new granddaughter. Hope this helps.

The easiest ones I make are string quilts. Just sew long scrap strips together onto a square muslin base . Then sew the squares all together in a pleasing design. I don't even put a border on them. They're pretty enough without borders. The best part of it is that you get to use up a lot of scraps. 8-)

I am currently making up wall hangings and full size quilts for seasonal decor. Of course, I have already over committed myself for Christmas gifts. I will make 2 queen size Cmas quilts with a bit more hand work in them ie one machine quilted and one hand appliqed and hand quilted. Plus some other stuff.
