I thought about cutting them into hexagons, and then crazy patching the same way. That way, you could sew them together into a whole quilt of whatever size you needed. Or, hexagon pineapples.
took a class with applique blocks. the instructor uses coffee filters for tear away stabilizer for machine applique. we also tried paper towels. both worked fine.
I can see taking the circle, cutting it into fourths down the center, then using them in a Drunkards path block-Just a crazy drunken idea--LOL Sorry for the pun.
That is so cool! What a great way to make crazy quilt fans...just cut the filter in half (or quarters),sew down your fan fabric strips and trim nice and even. Gotta go buy some coffee filters!!
