Great save! Would that all our problems could be saved this way!

I THINK mercerized means the thread won't shrink - it MUST mean that, or an awful lot of quilts would be having shrinking problems!

I've used cotton machine quilting thread without thinking about possible shrinking either. Why hasn't someone brought this up before :? :?

Your blocks look great! I can relate to your agonizing though. Why do we drive ourselves so nuts? I love paper piecing. Just remember tiny, tiny stitches. I can't wait to se the quilt! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for all of the compliments :D

This block pattern is in EQ, for those who would like a copy, please PM me after Oct 12 when I am back home and I will gladly share it with you!!! If you PM me before that's ok, but if I don't get back to you around the 12th or 13th please send me a reminder, ok?

I can't post a pic of the back, as the block is already sent off...but on EQ's templates, be it PP or standard, the ends are blunted off, which reduces the bulk in the center off the block. Fons and Porter sells a point trimming tool that does the same thing and more... When I get back home I can post a picture of this also...

I thank you for the answers to the thread question, too..I just started using cotton piecing thread...and yes, I do over think at times LOL
