Sewing.

At the moment I have a large oversize armless diningroom chair, but I am thinking of upgrading to a computer chair. Not sure if the arms would get in the want.

I have used my mom's old Singer bench, but I got rid of it - could barely straighten up if I sewed for more 30 minutes.

I can't sew with being in a chair with wheels. If a chair comes with arms, I take them off. I like this chair so much that I take it with me to all day classes and retreats (just took it Saturday!).

I have an armless computer chair - on wheels. I love to sew with this chair.

I use a computer chair and I love it. Comfort while sitting is the best. The arms help me up and down and also help hold the weight of my quilts while sewing.

Find a chair that fits the way you sit comfortably and you will be a happy and have less pain.

I have a Sewing chair. It has wheels, is adjustable as to height and back and such. I love it. I can roll from my sewing desk to the ironing board to the computer!!!

I don't use a chair. I went to try out a Hermann Miller aerilon [?spelling] chair as this is what Harriet Hargrave uses and loves. Instead I saw what the worker bees at the office furniture places use and got them to lend me one over the weekend. I loved it, took the borrowed one back, and actually bought one.

What did I get? It is called a Swopper. It isn't even a chair but looks like an adjustable mushroom. It is almost like sitting on a good balance ball so that I have to sit correctly. I can change the height to whatever I am working on. No arms to get in the way. I have NEVER regretted the cost as it is so much better than any chair.

You can get them online too.
