I also usually say "my sewing room" or "studio". Occasionally called the "Lady Cave".
My room downstairs is the "quilting room", since it has my longarm in it.

I call it my sewing room but it really is a black hole/disaster area. It really needs a clean out but Now I have gotten 2 notices for holiday craft shows so I guess clean out will have to wait.

I don't have a name for my sewing room, but right now it could be called The Bermuda Triangle - it's organized chaos in there right now!

My husband calls it the Play Room, but I call it "The Quilting Hoarders Delight!!!". He actually had a Sun Room Built onto the House about 10 years ago and gave it to me for my quilting room. Now I only have little trails to the sewing machine, cutting table and Sweet 16. The rest is stuffed with material and quilt kits. I hope before I die to get it organized - LOL!!!!
PS - I wouldn't dare show any pictures of it. It's really that bad

Since my sewing area is an upstairs guest bedroom, it is just simply called The Upper Room - where I spend time sewing and praying; often praying while I am struggling with some sewing
. When guests come, it gets a real deep cleaning but other times it could also be called the black hole.

LOL, Disaster is descriptive of my room which is called "The Back Bedroom." DH and I live in the house his grandfather purchased for his numerous family in 1919. Needing more sleeping space, the parlor became the 'back bedroom' and the name is ineradicable, one of the idiosyncrasies of a multi-generational home.Originally Posted by Fizzle
