I hate sandwiching!!! Also, I'd rather not do ANY appliquing either hand or machine. But, I love choosing the pattern, figuring fabric, selecting fabrics, etc.

I still do hand quilting and marking the quilting design on to the top is my downfall. I have many tops just waiting to be marked. I have purchased a Bernina with a BSR and one of these days I will master it and start machine quilting. Then marking will not be as necessary.

I love piecing, but what I hate the most is there is only 24 hours in a day to play with it.

I hate the sandwiching. I also have a dickens sometimes with the binding. But all in all I have enjoyed the final results. Now I need to make myself a quilt and keep it.

I agree. It is the most frustrating part for me. I'm too impatient!

I can't get down on the floor any longer -Well I might get down, but getting up would be questionable

I am not fond of crawling on the floor to pin the quilt together. Now with back problem it is even more difficult. I am going to try spray basting next.

BSR is a stitch regulator used in machine quilting. Really helps keep stitches even.
