Is Carpenters Star the same as Carpenters Wheel? It is still a carpenters wheel just using 2 hst to make the star
points.

When I first saw your post and the date of the previous post, I wasn't surprised that there would be a broken link. Then I found that when I clicked on the link in your quote, I got a broken link. However, when I went to the original post and clicked on that one, it was okay. Both start with http rather than https. Sometimes it will automatically add the "s" and take you to the site. I realized that there is no capitalization in your quote, but the original post does have the capitalization.
The link in your quote = http://www.quilterscache.com/c/centerstarblock.html
The link in the original post = http://www.quilterscache.com/C/CenterStarBlock.html
Did you copy and paste the link or just click on it?
The correct one is now https://www.quilterscache.com/C/CenterStarBlock.html

Donna Jordan, Jordan Fabrics, has a YouTube how-to she calls Carpener’s Wheel. She has an older one that I couldn’t find, same pattern, bigger squares/hst’s. I’ve made several as baby quilts with 4.5” blocks. I added an extra round to make them a little bigger. I also made one using 6.6” blocks for a queen size bed. It’s one of my favorite layouts.

I saw one today but didn't get the name of it. It was hanging on a wall, no pattern or I would have bought it. Oh, and its a BIG star.....not a bunch of star blocks.
Maybe you're thinking of the Swoon block?
Most people make a bunch of swoon blocks for their quilt. All you need to do to make it a "BIG star" is enlarge the pieces.
