None, I live alone. Lucky that way as for shopping which I love.
Now if only my husband hadn't died 31 years ago, that could have been a different story but I don't think so. He never complained about what I bought.

DH was at his model club the other week and the guys were all moaning about how they got nagged and ragged by their wives about the money and time they spend on their plastic models. LOL He said he just smiled as he told them I never give him any flack. I'm a quilter! He knows on which side his bread is buttered.

Not a problem, he knows it keeps me off the streets and out of the bars. :)

My sneak is much bigger... I hate to see unwanted sewing machines. I currently have 2 FeatherWeights, another off brand small sewing machine, 2 Treadle, 2 Wood Dome Sewing machines, an old White, my Fingerhut special I bought when I was a Senior in High School, the Touch and Sew my husband bought for me back when my children were young, another old sewing machine in a small cabinet, and an old Royal that a friend of ours bought at an action. I really think my husband doesn't mind so much, because it is his good friend that bought it. I'm sure I am missing 1 or 2. This is not to mention the toy machines, the fabric, and all the sewing gadgets and books. My main problem is that I do not have a central location to quilt. I am in the process of making an area in the basement. Maybe then I can get rid of some of the doubles....just maybe!

I have a significant other and he doesn't live with me so I don't have to hide anything. He has his gun hobbies so neither one of us say anything about the other's spending habits.

He doesn't need to know since he thinks quilting is a waste of time. Those of you who have supportive husbands--cherish them!!!!!

I just love this. My DH asks, "Well what did you find and what does it look like." I work at home for our business, but I also work 2 part-time jobs that is my fun money. One time I came home and he said, "I bought a new truck and I said ok, I bought a new sewing machine.

Me either. We have been married for 42 years . We are both retired. His hobby is golfing and going to the cruise nights with restored old cars and my hobby is sewing. We each spend money on our hobbies without hiding anything from each other. I don't think I could live very comfortably if I had to hide anything from him or sneak anything by him.

My hubby has no idea how much I spend or buy, but he could care less. I come home and feel guilty because I buy so much and make so little. Just love the fabric. He does take interest in what I am making though. He never says anything about all the fabric all over the place. He just moves it aside to sit on the sofa. We live in our 40' motorhome 6-8 months every year. When we are at home in TX, I have a sewing room. When home in MN or elsewhere I am in the motorhome.
