It sounds as though she meant well. For the jelly roll - it might turn out neater than you think.

If you really don't like it, see if someone wants to trade with you.

For the record, my Sister is really good to me. Especially now that we are on a fixed income. She sends me care packages alot. This one just took me off guard. you are right tho might turn out better than i think-don't do scrappy.

I thought jelly rolls are usually from a single line of fabric, so it's all coordinated. Please make sure to show us pictures.

It could be she saw something made from that line of fabric and thought it was pretty. I like the idea of making something with it and sending it back to her as a present. I did that with my sister and she was thrilled!
