Are you sure she didn't just send them cause she loved you and did not know what you might need to put in your stash? I know that my children and my family do that sometimes. JFTHO it.

Sounds like two different color combinations. Do you have fabric in your stash to finish using colors which belong with each other?
That is alot of work if the quilt colors are not compatible.

You could always use the jelly roll to make a donation quilt. You never know, it may turn out nice.

Combine it with other colors and use it in a log cabin quilt. I took all my ugly (don't know why I bought them) colors and made quilt to donate. My husband (Devin) saw it and said, "That's gorgeous - you're not giving that away are you?" So, I added big borders and it's now on our queen sized bed - with a label that says "Devin's Charity". I love now - it's was like an ugly duckling turning into a beautiful swan.

If you don't love the colors, don't sew it up! Some other use for it will present itself down the road... perhaps a trade?

Those colors blended together with a little addition would make a beautiful Jelly Roll Quilt. The only thing I would do is cut the Jelly Roll strips into 10 inch strips, then sew back together with
with a solid color piece 4 inches long, each strp wound then be 57 inches long. Sew strips together randomly until you reach 60 inches long. Your piece would be 57 x 60 inches, a great size for a youth quilt or add a border of plain brown or a double b order with 52o of the colorsd for a larger Quilt.

I had decided that I would like to try the striptwist quilt on Quitlville. So got out the jelly roll. It is brown flowers, pink and white paisley, lime green brown paisley and a combination strip. OMG!!!! My sister has impecable taste most of the time-this time it was all in her mouth. I will post pics when it is done but just might qualify for the world's ugliest quilt.
