Thanks for all the suggestions. Billi, I love that pattern. I threw them in the washer today with a color catcher and there was not one bit of transfer of color. Makes me feel more comfortable using white.

Stunning fabric. Incorporate some lighter fabric or some dark on light if you can find something similar

What about a Log Cabin with either white or creams as the light side and a red center?

I made my son an Asian themed quilt and used similar colors. I added a beige to pick up the lighter color, it really popped.

Luana, what pattern did you finally decide on? My son just asked me to make him a navy blue and white quilt...

I'd use an off white, bright white, silver or icy blue with those fabrics to make them pop... the secondary color would depend on pattern.
